05/01/2010 - St. Louis, MO (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Cincinnati Reds outfielder Chris Dickerson will undergo surgery on Monday to remove the broken hook from the hamate bone in his right hand and have an arthroscopic procedure performed on his right wrist.

The 28-year-old was placed on the 15-day disabled list Friday after suffering the injury in Thursday's game against Houston. The time table for his recovery and return will be determined after the operation. He is batting .227 in 20 games this season.

The Reds replaced Dickerson on the roster by calling up outfielder Chris Heisey, who was batting .241 with four homers and 13 RBI at Triple-A Louisville. Heisey was the organization's 2009 Minor League Player of the Year.
